Hopkins & Sons INC

We had an amazing experience with Hopkins and sons. Akeem and Art did a fantastic job moving my dad’s furniture into his new apartment. They moved in a timely manner, lifted everything carefully, and were extremely helpful. The price was reasonable and I will be using this company for any moves in t...

Had a very positive experience with your operation from Amy in the office to the boys on the truck. Everyone seemed to care as if it was their own personal belongings they were shipping. I will recommend them to anyone who ask 10 out of 10 for me thanks again guys.

Highly recommend Hopkins and Sons. Competitive pricing (compared multiple companies in the area), professional, and reliable. Amy the coordinator was extremely responsive and helpful setting up the move. Chris the estimator likewise was extremely responsive and set us up for success. Dino and his te...

very good communication, made the process easy and quick. The 2 men who came to move my stuff were considerate, kind and friendly. 10/10 recommend.

Great experience with Hopkins. Terrific staff. Incredibly professional, responsive and transparent. Amy (who was my main point of contact), Chris (who did the super efficient remote consult) and Dino (who lead the moving team) were all pros and were just great people. Fair pricing, very easy to deal...

Hopkins & Sons have moved my fiance and I twice now and both times they’ve done a flawless job both times, and they worked very expediently today in order to keep our stuff out of the rain! Highest recommendations.

Hopkins and Sons moved us on October 24th, 2025. Josh, Armando, and Ethan were excellent. They carefully wrapped all items and treated everything as if it were their own. They were friendly, courteous, and enthusiastic. All had a great sense of humor which makes the experience more pleasant. The bil...

Hopkins and Sons did an incredible job in moving us! Amy and Chris did a great job of planning the move and giving us a quote. Jason and Mike were incredible movers! They were very careful moving and securing everything and very quick moving everything! The job was done well and under the quote they...

I contacted Hopkins & Sons about moving furniture from a one bedroom apartment in West Chester, PA (plus 25 boxes in a downstairs storage unit) to my new apartment in Newark, DE. They were excellent all around, from Amy, the moving coordinator, to Josh, Joe and Neil the three gentlemen that perform...

I can't say enough good things about our experience without sounding obnoxiously gushy. The entire crew was so friendly and professional. There was absolutely no damage to anything because they went out of their way to move everything so carefully. HIGHLY recommend their services for your next move!

The gentlemen were nice who came. That is the best I can say. They did not mark the boxes fully and the only way to find things was to open the boxes. They broke several things and most can't be repaired or replaced. There are things I have not yet found even though the items from the same rooms ha...

I contacted this company in the morning recently and spoke with Amy. After giving her an idea of what I needed moved, she told me that 2 men should be fine at $140/hr. She also stated that, for the driving times, the rate would be reduced. I was sooo excited to hear this, as it is ridiculous to pay...

Scheduled a move with Hopkins & Sons for a move and couldn't be happier with the experience. Our move was from Philly area to Maryland and the price was extremely reasonable. Our home settlement got rescheduled a couple times due to COVID delays with the mortgage company and Amy in their office was...

Hopkins was great! They recently moved me and were efficient, courteous, and everything went exactly as planned. Everything was placed where I wanted it and not a single thing was damaged in the slightest. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was just as I wanted it. Highly recommen...

We have moved over a dozen times in 30 years. We used Hopkins & Sons the last time we moved. They provided the smoothest move we have ever had. They are by far the best movers ever! I recommend them wholeheartedly.

Load 9/11 unload 9/14. Same crew loaded and unloaded us. Jay, Ron, and Darnell.Great crew! Professional, courteous, efficient, and yes, even good relationship within the crew. They exemplified tearmwork. Kept my items over 2 days. They packed my items with care, as if they were packing their m...

Awesome company and everything went perfectly with our move! I liked that they sent someone (Tom) to our home first, then provided an estimate. Tom's estimate was right on, and after the load was packed and weighed the actual cost was slightly less than the estimate. Good communications from the...

I strongly suggest you use another moving company. We used Hopkins twice and the second time we got a bait and switch from the company for our interstate move. They were very secretive about the driver for our move even though we made a specific request, they split up our goods, left items behind be...

We moved on 11/17 /16 and used Hopikins and Sons. I can not say enough about this moving company . They were the hardest working , nicest most proffesional group of guys we have ever seen. The representative that came out , Brad, was so good with his quote and what he promised us would happen the da...

Hopkins and Sons came recommended by a coworker. I had priced 3 other local moving companies. The first noticeable difference with Hopkins was that they sent out a representative to my apartment to give an estimate. When he arrived, he was wearing a suit, and carried an i-pad to take an inventory of...
